About Us

Menace Tennis makes tennis coaching FUN, competitive and energetic for children (7-14 years) in London and Wiltshire. Action packed days with team games, drills honing technique and tournaments. The focus is to get children hitting as many tennis balls as they can over the course aspiring to be the next Roger Federer!

Menace Tennis provides the opportunity for children to receive personal levels of tennis coaching whilst also benefiting from the group environment. Every parent receives written feedback and a photo displaying how their child has progressed on the course, we want to make sure that parents get good value for their money!

Henry Lamb (aka Horrid Henry – see picture) started Menace Tennis in 2010. It started as a small scale idea during his student holidays and with a lot of hard work it is slowly becoming a nationwide venture. He currently teaches at Fulham Prep School and runs Menace Tennis courses and birthday parties during the school holidays in London and Wiltshire.

Henry enjoys teaching though his real passion is getting children involved in tennis. He believes he has the perfect background for running these tennis courses being a qualified teacher and having played tennis to a very high level.

Henry believes that all children will enjoy tennis and progress if it is adapted to a fun learning environment, girls in particular. If you can get children playing exciting and dynamic games that incorporate a skill then they will be making progress without even registering it because they will be so fixated within the outcome of the game. Progress is made at a young age through repetition and helpful advice where necessary.

Tennis can be serious though it should be seriously good fun as well. Come and try one of our courses…I am sure there’s a bit of a menace inside you!
